I’m Gail Owen and this is the story of my journey through the discovery and documentation of my ex-husband’s infidelity. In addition to my so-crazy-it-must-be true story, I offer the lessons I learned at each stage. I hope these lessons give a practical guide to other wronged women and men so that they can uncover what happened and fight back to get the divorce settlement they deserve.

I am a consultant, Ph.D. and former business school professor. My background in business intelligence and my dogged pursuit to find out “what really happened,” drove my investigation of his cheating and its financial implications. As a result, I offer no-nonsense advice on navigating through the divorce process and illustrate the investigative techniques I used as I tell the horrendous, though often hilarious story of my ex-husband’s extensive and expensive infidelities.

My blog shares the advice I wish I had gotten from a straight- shooting best friend who had been in my shoes. If you have been cheated on, I hope it helps you find the measure of justice, if not happiness, you deserve after going through some very tough times. And I hope my crazy story gives you a few laughs in the process.  In fact, the story is so outrageous that I have disguised my name and others – for the benefit of my two adult children.
